I ordered the corn beef hash which was just okay. I like they offered breakfast during the lunch hour. Only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table during the busy lunch time.

Top Notch’s parking lot was full so thought it may be a good choice. I was in the SB airport neighborhood and decided to stop for lunch. It's a good place if you have an early fight out of South Bend or are in this part of town.

I didn't see any sugar free jelly so I took my chance with the orange marmalade! I had several coffee refills plus water ones too and received a coffee to go. It comes with the Midwest-style fried potatoes and bread. The omelet was huge and filled mostly with veggies and a little meat, but that's ok. I am 57 and was the youngest, I think! I had a "everything" omelet and requested no onions and Swiss instead of cheddar and got exactly that. My waitress said she was a 21 year old college student and was attentive to all of us "old men" who were there that morning. They have lots of skillet dishes and many omelet types plus much more. drove by there in the afternoon and saw lights on, but it was after 3 pm so it was closed for the day, but it did open on Monday morning at 6 am! When I checked TripAdvisor, it said CLOSED. I asked when I checked in where I could have a good, early breakfast and was told "Top Notch". I was staying nearby at the Candlewood Inn since I had an early flight out of South Bend.
